Overview

Olive Paper Lane is a static reference site. It does not require accounts, and it does not run advertising or third-party analytics tracking. The points below describe the small amount of data involved in using the site.

Local storage for the cookie notice

When you choose Accept or Reject on the cookie notice shown on the home page, that single choice is saved in your browser using local storage so the notice is not shown again. This value stays in your browser, is not transmitted to any server, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

The contact form

The contact form on the home page runs entirely in your browser to demonstrate the submission flow. It does not send your name, email, phone number, or message to any server, and no message is actually delivered. Information typed into the form is not stored after the page is closed or reset.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting service may record standard technical request information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. This information is used only to operate and secure the site.

External links and images

Pages link to external organisations and load photographs hosted on Wikimedia Commons. When your browser loads an image or you follow a link, that request is handled by the third-party service under its own privacy practices. We do not control those services.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date above will be revised. Continued use of the site reflects the current version.
